“Hi everyone, I’m Yasmin’s fiance
She asked me to write a little something and I’ve kinda been not doing that so I’m sorry about that now, I am though ![:)]()
We’ve known each other for quite some time and when we were younger we didn’t have a clue about endometriosis, so it was kinda confusing for me sometimes why she’d be really tired alot or suddenly be in pain. I would catch myself thinking ”is she here to see me or to sleep?” or “how can it hurt so bad?”
It’s gotten alot easier with time for me to accept and deal with these things, and of course finding out that it was the endo causing the tiredness and hurt helped alot.
When she gets cramps it pains me that I can’t do anything about itbut comfort her by caressing her lower back and pretty much be silent, as it’s not helpful in any way to ask all sorts of questions.
I cook often if she’s on a bad streak, I used to think it sucked a little sometimes but as time has passed I’ve gotten quite good at cooking so now I don’t really mind it.
The tiredness doesn’t really bother me no more, it did sometimes when we were younger but now that I know that it can’t really be helped and it’s not her fault, I’ve just accepted it.
Plus it gives me a little time to do whatever, which I don’t mind :3
Although she can get a bit bossy and cranky when she’s in pain haha, but I get why so I take it pretty lightly if she snarls at me. Although it’s still not easy to see her in such pain or know that she might faint somewhere, maybe I’m not around at the time maybe she’ll get injured. That and the risk of not being able to have children
are what scare the most I think.
All in all I wouldn’t say that our relationship suffers from the endometriosis it might have a little when we were younger, but I’ve kinda just learned to roll with it.”
